West London Turkish School invites our community to a solemn and respectful ceremony to commemorate the leaders who played pivotal roles in the establishment and journey of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

This day of remembrance is dedicated to honouring the memory, vision, and enduring legacy of the founding President, Rauf Denktaş, and all the esteemed leaders who dedicated their lives to the cause of the Turkish Cypriot people. We reflect on their unwavering struggle, profound statesmanship, and their dream of a secure and sovereign homeland.

What to Expect:

• A Moment of Reflection: A dignified ceremony featuring speeches and poems that pay tribute to the lives and contributions of these great leaders.

• Documentary & History: A short presentation or photo exhibition showcasing key historical moments and the enduring legacy of the TRNC's founding figures.
