24 Kasım Öğretmenler Günü | Teachers' Day Celebration
At West London Turkish School, we proudly celebrate 24 Kasım Öğretmenler Günü, a special day dedicated to honouring the immense contributions, dedication, and heartfelt efforts of our wonderful teachers.
Inspired by the legacy of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who was given the title "Başöğretmen" (Head Teacher) for his foundational role in Turkish education, this day allows our entire school community to express our deepest gratitude. Our teachers are the heart of our school, guiding our students not only academically but also in their journey to becoming confident, culturally-grounded individuals.
What to Expect:
-
Student Tributes: Our students will prepare and present heartfelt poems, songs, and personal messages of thanks to their teachers.
-
Awards and Recognition: A special ceremony to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of our teaching staff.
-
A Community Thank You: An opportunity for parents and the school community to come together and show their appreciation.
-
A Joyful and Emotional Atmosphere: A warm, heartfelt gathering filled with smiles and gratitude, highlighting the special bond between teachers and students.
This celebration is a small token of our immense appreciation for the educators who light the path of knowledge for our children every single weekend.
Join us in saying "Teşekkür Ederiz" to our incredible teachers!
